A group of archeologists led by Professor Talmudist Gorky of Ankara University recently discovered three ancient Greek mosaics in the Turkish city of Zelma near the border of Syria. Fearing that the ancient treasures of Zelma would be lost permanently, archeologists hurried to excavate, secure, and conserve the relics of the past, including the incredibly intact glass mosaics that date back to the Second century BC. Part of the city is now immersed underwater , excavations continue in the hopes of uncovering more historical artifacts.
